Yuvraj Singh has reflected on India's 2011 World Cup glory on its first anniversary.

The stylish left hander, who is recovering from cancer, revealed the role of Sachin Tendulkar behind his inspired performance.

Yuvraj says Sachin told him he will matter when it matters the most. He added that he wasn't timing the ball well and Sachin's pep talk played a huge role.

Yuvraj, who made 362 runs and took 15 wickets in the tournament, added that Zaheer Khan too, predicted special things from him before the tournament.
